Here is a fun idea for a baby shower. Invite friends of the mom to be to a Knitting Party and have the guests take part in creating a special blanket or beanie gift for the baby.
To set the mood, create an invitation that includes illustrations on knitting basics (see below) in the background and then use vellum paper on top with the party information. Embellish with a bow made with yarn.
For decoration get balls of yarn and place in an oversized clear vase.
Food – offer finger appetizers and bite size desserts
Drink – Sherbert Punch
